Loyola High School Board

Purpose and Functions of the School Board
The School Board will assist and advise the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Headmaster of the school in the formulation and implementation of policy for the school, as will be amended from time to time by the appropriate body, and in any other matters concerning the school that the Chairman of the Board of Trustees may direct.
Composition of the School Board
The School Board shall have the following members who shall be approved by the Regional Commissioner:
- Five members appointed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees;
- Three members appointed by the Regional Commissioner upon recommendation of the Regional Education Officer;
- Headmaster;
- The Regional Education Officer or his/her nominee representing the Commissioner; and
- One member representing the Academic Staff of the school.
The school board meets four times a year namely
The first Saturdays of March, June, September and December;
